The First Bank Oktoberfest 15K, 15K Walk & Lowes Foods 5K at Brunswick Forest race route takes you through a beautiful planned community on paved running trails, through picturesque Meadow Park, across wooden bridges and over a 1/3 mile elevated boardwalk through a nature area, and includes a run down Cape Fear National Drive beside the golf course. The race course is flat, fast and interesting. The 15K Walk starts 45 minutes before the run and covers the exact some route.

The event features 3-deep awards in 5 year age groups with Open and Masters winner categories. The first 300 entrants will receive tech shirts. The awards will be presented in a beautiful outside setting at the Community Commons area with a post race party including free beer, good snacks, vendors, exhibitors and prize drawings for gifts from our sponsors and free race entries to 5 Star Race Productions events. The First Bank Oktoberfest 15K is a great tune up for the Carolina Sports Medicine Battleship NC Half Marathon and Port Land Grille Battleship 5K held on November 4th in Wilmington, NC.
Entry fees are $40 for the 15K and $30 for the 5K until September 2nd. After September 2nd late fee increases to $45 and $35 respectively, and remains at that price through on Race Day.
Packet Pickup Saturday, October 13th from 12:00 - 2:00 pm at Trysports in Mayfaire Towne Center in Wilmington, then at Brunswick Forest in the Fitness Center from 3:30 - 5:00 pm.
