Registration and Packet Pickup Saturday, April 6th at New Balance in Mayfaire near Harris Teeter from noon until 1:00 pm. Then again from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at Brunswick Forest Veterinary Hospital (see link below for the Vet Hospital).
Race Day Regsitration at the Vet Hospital starting at 6:15 am, as well as packet pickup. Another person can pickup your packet but they must show ID.
The Brunswick Family Assistance 10K, 5K & 1-mile Fun Run and 10K walk is held at beautiful Sea Trail Resort and Convention Center near Sunset Beach. The courses are flat and fast traveling through the pretty neighborhoods of Sea Trail. Inside bathrooms and changing areas are available and the awards ceremony will be held in a large clubhouse cabana with refreshments, prize drawings, and other festivities. The race features an interesting, fast course, nice shirts, 2-deep awards in 5-year age groups, and 3-deep awards in Overall winner categories. Walkers and jog strollers are welcomed. 3-Race Series: The 10K run and 10K walk is the first race of our 3-Race Series. The BFA Sea Trail 10K, followed by the First Bank Oktoberfest 15K at Brunswick Forest on October 14th and culminating with the Carolina Sports Medicine Battleship Half Marathon on November 4th make up the 3-race series. BFA Sea Trail Pre-Race Packet Pickup/Registration will be held at New Balance of Wilmington in Mayfaire on Friday afternoon from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. New Balance is near the Harris Teeter in Mayfaire. You can also register for the race as well as pick up your packet and snag some great running gear and supplies while you're at New Balance of Wilmington.
Race Day Packet Pickup and REGISTRATION will take place at the race site in the large cabana to the right of the club house. Look for the yellow sign.
The 10K Walk starts at 7:30 am and will cover the same course as the 10K run. There is a 2 hour 15 minute time limit which equates to 21:45 per mile. Fitness Walkers receive the same shirts as 10K runners. There are no awards for walkers other than the feeling of accomplishment and fun you'll have negotiating the course through beautiful Sea Trail Resort.
