Athlete-Focused Events, Novice to Elite

5 Star Race Productions brings you a variety of top quality competitive athletic events in southeastern North Carolina with over 4,000 athletes running our races in 2014! We welcome all levels of athletes, novice to elite. 5 SRP is the proud company behind such races as the 17th annual Port City Orthopaedics Battleship Half Marathon & Battleship 5K (The Battleship Race! - Nov 8, 2015), the Brunswick Forest Half Marathon & Connected Home 5K (May 3, 2015), and other 15K, 10K's and 5K's on fun and challenging race courses in our area.

We don't "shotgun" it with races weekend after weekend. We only put on events that are unique, challenging and fun for the participants; and each of our events benefits excellent local charities.

We added two new events in 2014: The Beethoven 15K & 5K and the Brunswick Forest Half Marathon & Connected Home 5K. Athletes loved the double loop Brunswick Forest half marathon course with two out and back trips over a 1/3 mile long elevated boardwalk through a cool, picturesque nature area and around a small lake. We raised over $3,000 for the UNC Lineberger Cancer Center from this event. The Beethoven 15K & 5K grew to 445 runners in it's second year with courses that are flat, fast and picturesque. The race features a serious costume contest with very nice prizes. Winners are picked by audience cheering and skits are encouraged to drum up support. The race raises several thousand dollars for the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra each year.

Some of the other local non-profits our events raise funds for are the Cape Fear Literacy Council, the Boyscouts of Wilmington, the Vietnam Veterans of America, the Marine Corps Toys for Tots and some UNCW organizations.
